Summary: The last great mansion built in downtown Natchez prior to the War Between the States it is one of the finest examples of Greek Revival architecture   The exterior walls are stucco over brick scored and painted to resemble brownstone   Featured inside is a costume museum   Built for cotton broker and merchant Thomas Henderson it was also the home of Audley Clark Britton and family until 1935   Mr Britton was one of the founders of the Britton and Koontz Bank in Natchez which was chartered in 1835 and still exists today   This wonderful home is a restoration project of the Natchez Garden Club   National Register   Tours every hour 10 00 a m to 5 00 p m Wednesday through Sunday The last tour begins at 4 00 p m Image Search Content inclusion
