what is enviromental architecture?

Description about Biomedical, Enviromental, Architectual and Industrial Engineering? Hi everybody :) I'm a Junior at a high school and i was thinking a lot about becoming an engineer later (good in math and physics). I'm still not sure about that career but still I want to plan. Engineering is a biiig field, and I chose becoming either a Biomedical, Enviromental, Architectual or Industrial Engineer. - Biomedical because I can combine my skills in engineering with Medicine, and also I like to help people in at least some way. Maybe what I don't like about it is only working in labs all day. - Enviromental because I think that our earth should be saved. I'm not a big enviromentalist but well, take a look at the global warming lol. -Architectual because I'd be an architect but i'm just an average drawer and i might not have the "eye" for design. but architecture and other art stuffs really interest me. But i think its a pretty easy engineering field. no mechanics and stuff i guess? just structure. - Industrial sounds good because you don't sit in ur labs all day and still communicate and doing fun stuff i guess? but you gotta socialize a lot i guess, which i'm not really used to. Well i hope someone can give me a little more detailed job description considering the work they do, how difficult the work is, if they get paid a lot, the workplace.. etc! Thanks a lot :D

Do you think fan's negative reception of Left 4 Dead 2 could have been changed? I personally am a fan of Left 4 Dead, and have noticed a large amount of negative news and feedback for the game's 2009 sequel, Left 4 Dead 2. I think most of the negative feedback could have been avoided had Valve used the original characters, only aged and weathered, as they had hinted they would pre-launch of L4D. By not only updating the look of the characters, they could further age the apocalyptic setting, introducing new infected, new weapons, and more enviromental hazards (such as unstable buildings and weapon jamming). However, it does look like they have updated the entire AI architecture, which would be extremely difficult to simply add to the original L4D, but I cannot feel my purchase of Left 4 Dead slightly invalidated, as my purchase was roughly 8 months ago, and I am still enjoying the game. I am really asking if the new game was a good move, from a marketing point of view, as well as from a gamer's view. My expectation: Valve won't lose money over this game, but they won't make quite enough money to breathe life into the franchise, leaving the remaining fans wondering if the game itself can come back from the dead.

what do i need to do to get accepted into cal poly san luis obispo (as a transfer student)? here's my dilema... i recently came back from a college tour trip and i fell in LOVE with SLO. i love everything about it! unfortunately its my senior, and i know my gpa is not strong enough to get me accepted into slo...especially this year with all the school admission cut backs. i also understand that they look at your other volunteer stuff, etc... and i havent done A LOT. i've jumped around from participating in relay for life one year, tutoring kids with reading last year, shelving books at the lewis library this year, and im just a secretary for the enviromental club this year, and theres a few other things too. my plan was to apply to one of the easier CSUs, where my chances of getting accepted is higher...completing my GED there and after 2 years...my goal is to transfer to SLO! and declare my major in landscape architecture. what do i have to do to get accepted into cal poly SLO as a transfer student? besides keeping a good GPA any advice would be GREATLY appreciated! im just really disappointed in myself, i wish i could have pushed myself harder to get better grades, and i wish i could have visited SLO's campus waay before my senior year.
