Roman Architecture? Can anyone give me 5 examples of how roman architecture has influenced and become or has been change into modern architecture
How does ancient Roman architecture reflect the values of their culture? For a World History project. Romans made good use out of arches, vaults, and domes, and some of their earlier architecture was based on that of the Greeks', particularly their use of Corinthian Order columns. Unlike Greeks, the Roman's paid a lot of attention to the interior of buildings, an example being the Pantheon. That's just a bare skeleton of what Roman architecture is like, but how does any of that reflect their cultural values? Thanks in advance.
How to identify the end of Roman Architecture? All architecture have shown their greatness in their presence. But how to mark the end of architecture from the past? Does the fall of the Roman Empire signify the end of Roman Architecture?

True or false. greek and roman architecture is similar because when the roman empire took over greece--->? True or false. greek and roman architecture is similar because when the roman empire took over greece they liked the greek traditions. I am having trouble with my study guide right now for school and I thought by asking everybody on yahoo answers would be a great idea. This study guide is not for a grade at all. It is just to help me out tomorrow a little bit. The actual test is almost exactly the same thing as this study guide just they make the questions that exact opposite of what is on the study guide. Such as if they were talking about fat the test question would talk about anorexia. I know that was a bad example but it is the best I could think of right now. I always seem to do bad on the easy questions. The first person to answer this question and it is correct will get 10 points. :-)

Byzantine architecture: What was it really? What did they draw their architecture from? Romans? Greeks? Etruscans? Nords? Or did they innovate something completely different? I thought that since their ancestors were Greek, they'd have classical architecture sort of melded into a Medieval type(I know that sounds wierd). What do you guys think about Byzantine architecture?
