  1. westminster
  2. Trump Tower
  3. Gothic style architecture is a French staple between the 12th and the 16th centuries. It inspired many other Gothic revivals in other parts of Europe. English Gothic stems from a revival of the Gothic styles in the 18th century. The English architectural style that is contemporaneous with French Gothic are the medieval and renaissance styles in England. When France was beginning Gothic in the 12th Century, England was still building Barrel Cathedrals, like the Old Knightsbridge cathedral, which was eventually turned into a flying buttress style.
  4. Notre Dame is much older than the Gothic style. I'd say it's Chartres in France
  5. Our two principal cathedrals, Canterbury and York, are both good examples of Early English Gothic. Other examples are Winchester, Salisbury, Lincoln and Ely.
  6. The Westminster Cathedral?
