Is there any famous or ivyleague schools that have a good architecture major?

I want to be an architect or designer and i want to go to a good school. i know that you can go to art school and all that but is there a famous school that has a good architecture department? Is MIT a choice?

  1. MIT is probably the best school to go to for architecture. If you wanted to go to an Ivy League school, I would give Cornell University a look.
  2. well... in Alphabetical... Here are high ranking colleges that HAVE an architecture major...in alphabetical order... Baylor (TX) Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo Cal Tech CMU (PA) Columbia (NY) Cornell (NY) Lehigh Univ. (PA) MIT Penn. State- Univ Park Princeton (NJ) Rice (TX) Texas A&M - College Station UC Berkeley UCLA UM Ann Arbor USC UT Austin Virginia Tech Yale (CT) All of these probably have the best Architecture Majors... you have 4 Ivy Leagues (Yale, Princeton, Cornell, and Colombia), and other Ivy League Caliber schools (3-Cal Tech, Rice, and MIT...maybe 4 or 5 if you count CMU and Lehigh Univ.) And the Absolute Best public schools in the Nation (UC Berkeley, UCLA, UM Ann Arbor, and UT Austin) all of which are Target schools for kids all over the nation.
