Do you have to be good at math to succeed in Architecture/landscape design?

I am really excited about these careers but, im not too good at math. Anyone out there an architect? Are you/were you good at math? If not, did it hold you back? Is math used alot in real life profession?

  1. You have to be familiar with measurements and fractions, Trigonometry (geometry). It may not hurt to know a little bit on how to add and subtract money. I'm not a math whiz, but I'm comfortable using it. You will too in time. Yes, math is used everyday. But as I said, over time you will get used to using it. Have more questions? 2. you have to be good in geometry, trigonometry calculous, basic division, multiplication, addition, subtraction, decimals, and metric system. You have to be good on taking measurements, designs and some software products. But don't worry - everything is computerized now so your school MIGHT use computer on classes. AND calculators. Although some school, they really want their students to learn it w/o the help of computers just in case the power went out they could still function...or if the computer break down - it will be in their heads.
