can anyone think of modern western restuarants, architecture that has been influence by the ancient egyptian ?

other than hardrock cafe in myrtle beach or luxor casino?

  1. Yes, I can. I could imagine an interior completely made of limestone, nothing else. I once was to a Thai reastaurant in Berlin, Germany, where the interior was almost completely made of bamboo, and that was great (and the kitchen was even greater). I liked the food, and the interior, and, yes, it's possible without great expenses; or so I think.
  2. The Cheescake Factory, in Victoria Gardens, Corona, California...the inside is completely ancient egyptian...lotus shaped pillars, tutankhamoun masks, heiroglypics designs...its very nice and dramatic
