- I would say the best choices are in Tokyo. Overall, I was really impressed by the Miho Museum http://www.miho.or.jp/english/architec/architec.htm
- Tokyo & Osaka..
- I think the best is Tokyo for architecture. 'cause there have been many redevelopment projects in Tokyo and many contemporary buildings have built these days. You would see the buildings witch is used glass, steel and concrete. Skyscrapers as well. If you go to Japan, it's easy to get to Yokohama from Tokyo, takes about 30 minutes by train. I'm from Tokyo region.
- As for the inside design, I like Tokyo Mid Town. It has Wafu-modern design inside. Wafu-modern is the fusion of traditional Japanese design and modern design. I like it. Official site: http://www.tokyo-midtown.com/en/index.html As for the outside design, I like Minato-mirai area in Yokohama. Total design of the buildings are my favorite. Official site: http://www.minatomirai21.com/english/index.html Tokyo International Forum is also good. Official site: http://www.t-i-forum.co.jp/english/index.html And, the following links are my videos. You can see above-mentioned buildings. - Depends on your definition. Kyoto Station has the best modern architecture design of any Japanese train station. Tokyo is a very vast Metropolis so obviously there is always construction there, so Tokyo would be top mainly because of its size allows new things to be continuously built. The tallest building in Japan is in Yokohama. Osaka has many interesting buildings as well.
