Architecture?
I am a senior in high school, and I am considering architecture as a career, but I am not sure. Is it best to get an undergrad and a masters in architecture, or would it be possible to get your undergrad in something else and then apply to an architecture masters program? Also, what schools are good for architecture? I was looking into Notre Dame, and I was wondering if anyone had any insight about it, or any other architecture schools.

- I'm a senior in high school also and I'm also going to college for architecture. You can get an undergrad in something else but either way you'll have to do 6 years for a Masters in architecture. Georgia tech is the best school for architecture but NC State, UNC Charlotte, and Pratt University are good too. You should got to collegeboard.com to look at other schools.
- The architecture school at Clemson University in Clemson, SC is well-known. It's a smaller town and a smaller campus, but you will find it costs less than Notre Dame. You might want to get an engineering degree first then get your masters in architecture, but you can become an architect with just your BS in Architecture. Engineering would just add on to the knowledge you'd need to design good structures that are aesthetically pleasing. The Engineering department at Clemson wins the "concrete boat" race almost every year. Their department is well-known nationally as well. You could get your undergrad in either subject and also your Masters in either at Clemson. Good luck!
- You might want to look at Resselear Polytechnic Institute in NY.
