- 1. You sit a desk and use auto cad to plot out the building specification. in a city usually, nice clothing though the place i work there pretty lacks on the dress code. 2. 8-5 3. mostly alone but you do work with a team of people on the building. 4. sometimes you have to travel to the construction site and monitor the progress they usually send out the new guy so i always have to go to the construction site. 5. $60,000, depends on the boss for perks, insurance yes after 6 months, company gas card for trips to the construction scene, 6. with more training i could be a architect but it's very hard work and alot of education also usually to be a certified architect you have to have at least 8-10 years of prior experience. advantaged-pay and i like the work better then all my previous shitty jobs. disadvatages the deadlines and the client. schooling college degree in architecture or engineering. they give a test to see how good at autcad you are. good high school class is algebra, geometry, applied science, and take as much building classes as possible especially the ones that focus on building engineering like advanced construction. moderately hard to find a job, the housing market isn't doing to good now but it will probably pick up the commercial building is doing good.
