I want to learn about designing homes, i know i need to learn trig but what parts, any good books or tutorials on the all the parts of home design from scratch.

- two books i would recommend : A Pattern Language by Christopher Alexander and The Not So Big House by Susan Susanka will get you started in the the basics of designing or WHAT TO DESIGN AutoCAD, math, engineering, ect is more about HOW TO BUILD IT
