Architecture?
Ok my dream when i grow up is too be an Architect and the to own my own Architectural firm. What do I need to do to prepare for college? And Should I go to a big College or can I got to a technical school like ITT Tech or anything. Will I get the same job opportunities as a college grad if i go to a technical school as far a salary goes?

- you need to go to college to become an architect. you can't do it through technical school. look up what colleges have a good architecture program. also after you get your degree, you must obtain an architecture license to practice and have your own firm (it's a test, like taking the bar after you get out of law school). Technical schools only offer training for certain fields (IT, mechanics, nursing, etc.) and unfortunately arhcitecture is not one of them. in preparation for college, you will need to do well in math and any art/design class. some applications require that you submit a portfolio. a lot of the prepartation will be in your first two years as an undergraduate before you really get into learning about architecture. good luck, hope your dreams come true!
