  1. Check if it is circumcised........
  2. badum...dum!!!!
  3. Since jewish people lived for centuries mixed with europeans and not in their own land they did not develop a specific architectural style. Synagogues are built in different styles usually similar to the style of the time and the place where they are built. Many famous architects are jewish and they have designed buildings that don't have anything specifically jewish about them. I suppose the only clear indication would be the use of symbols like the star of David.
  4. A building cannot be Jewish. Only a person can be Jewish. The term Jewish refers to a type of religion or ethnicity. If you are wondering if you could figure out if the occupants of the building are Jewish, then I would tell you the best way is that they have a mezuzot (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mezuzah) on their door post at the front door. A mezuzot is typically smaller than a granola bar and is sometimes decorated in pretty colors which contains a scroll with hebrew versus inside. Jewish people who follow this tradition will usually kiss their hand and place it upon the mezuzot. Other than that, you can tell the occupants are jewish if they display certain symbols, such as the star of david, or the menorah.
