What are the best architecture schools both inside & outside of the US?

If they're inclined towards a more modern style, it would be even better! Thanks in advance!

  1. NJIT is great for architecture (New Jersey Institute of Technology) also, Cooper Union (in New York) is very good as well. good luck =]
  2. I used to live in Indiana and had several friends with teenager children who were interested in architecture. Ball State University, in Muncie, Indiana, was a highly regarded school. Getting into the architecture major as an undergrad was extremely competitive and of course getting into the graduate program was even more so. I remember that they also talked about a college in Chicago that was really good. Only one of the kids ended up getting into architecture, and he chose Ball State.
  3. penn state has a really good architecture program. both my stepdad and my stepbrother went through the program and my stepdad currently has his own very successful business designing mostly churches and my stepbrother is finishing out his last couple years at penn state.
  4. Cornell is pretty good.
