What should I minor in?
I'm a landscape architecture major, and since I'm a little ahead of schedule, I want to minor in something. I was thinking about urban and regional planning, which is in the same college so that I won't have to take any pre-reqs, but then I heard I should minor in something different from my major in order to open up more routes in the future. What should I do? Any advice?

- I would go with something completely different. It will make your course more interesting for the variety and make you more interesting to employers. Everyone likes to employ well-rounded people. Why not minor in a foreign language? This could be incredibly useful in the future as companies try to do more business internationally, and they need people who can communicate. You might get to study abroad as part of your degree (a great idea) or even work abroad later on. Good luck and I hope it all works out for you.
