See inside a modern Japanese home?

Kind of an odd question, but I've been curious about this for awhile. Does anyone know of a site where you can get a virtual tour or see a lot of pictures from inside a Japanese home? I'm really into architecture so floor plans would be cool as well. It's just that, aside from anime, I have no idea what a Japanese home looks like. I was curious as to how modern (western) they could look in this day and how traditional some look. Also, and mostly what the differences inside would be between a modest living family and perhaps a richer one? I've tried searching through google to not much avail. I suppose I'm not that resourceful. Anything would be cool, personal pictures, sites with pictures or even detailed accounts of how it is inside would all be very much appreciated.

  2. below is a link to a construction company website click on the pictures to see the rooms. this is a modern (upper income) japanese home... no floor plans, sorry http://www.nipponnoie.co.jp/gallery.htm hope this helps
  3. http://www.rkb-housingpark.com/virtual/index.html It's a virtual tour of "model houses" advertised by housing makers. It's very modern and no tatami-room there, but almost all Japanese houses still have at least 1 tatami-room in our houses. Click either QuickTime版 or Flash簡易版 below the picture to see movies. In Flash version, you can horizontally change the view by moving a cursor right or left. Scroll speed becomes slow when a mouse is moved to the center and becomes fast when it's moved towards an edge. In Quick Time version, you can look around by moving a cursor up&down and right&left. To zoom in, use Shift key. To zoom out , use Ctrl key.
