  1. depends where youre looking to go jersey has richard stockton college for interior design. its an easy degree. i think you have to take some maths for architect how about a dual major?
  2. RISD! It's one of the top art schools in the nation. Super competitive and has the most diverse art programs. It's in Rhode Island and it's expensive and they expect A LOT from you. Also, Pratt Institute in NY- very good for architecture, SCAD-Georgia- good architecture, interior program.. Parson in NY- has a very nice program for interior design.
  3. Top 15 Architecture Schools as of 2007 and 2008: http://www.architectmagazine.com/industry-news.asp?sectionID=1006&articleID=602885 Those are all certified B. Arch schools by the way. If you aren't looking to get a B. Arch in 5 years and would like a B.S. or B.A. in 4 years and then get a Master's later...I would recommend UC Berkeley (highly theoretical). Good luck and email me with any questions you have of Architecture.
