My partner and I are looking to move further out from Birmingham (we currently live about two and and a half miles from the city centre) this summer. As neither of us drive we've been looking at the trainlines out of the city up to about 45 min or so from the city centre as we both still work there. At the moment we're leaning toward Warwickshire for places to look for homes (we are looking to buy our first home together), and a few towns/villages have caught our eye. We have visited most of these places, but obviously living there is a bit different! If you had to choose one of the following to live in, which would you choose, and why? Rugby Leamington Spa Warwick Stratford-upon-Avon In case you need to know a little about us, I'm 28 and my partner is 25, but we aren't 'typical' 20-somethings in that we don't spend most of our evenings in pubs! We do like a drink now and then, but we love going for walks in the country, a bit of history, architecture, gardens, museums, etc. We'd like to live somewhere that has a nice sense of community, and we don't mind tourists as we used to live in Chester. Cheers! Ok we have now ruled out Rugby and Leamington Spa as they're too big for our liking. So now it's down to Stratford and Warwick.
