Moving to California?

I am moving to California, and have a choice between many different areas in the north and south I have narrowed it down to:Upland,Monrovia.Huntington Beach,Northridge/San Rafael,Capitola,Napa.I like to spend my spare time kayaking, hiking, bike riding. And love the sunshine, modern architecture and design.Any advice on the best area for me to move to would be more than greatly appreciated.Thank you

  1. I live in Marin County near San Rafael and there is plenty to do outside here. Lots of bike and hiking trails and pretty decent weather most of the year. You aren't likely to see any rain between May and October. It's pricey here, but San Francisco and Berkeley are less than 30 minutes away and Napa/Sonoma about an hour.
  2. i live in huntington beach, and i love it here dearly. we always have sunny weather -you can bike ride/hike in the wetlands, and beach -very close to other hiking areas such as dana point and san clemente DOWNSIDE: -many of my neighbors are very conservative, and do not give a crap about the environment. some are money freaks who think living life is through $. (but im not saying everyones horrible!!!) -housing is veryyyyy pricey have you looked at living in san clemente? that place is much more down-to-earth. still has the so-cal environment, and is a excellent place to hike bikeride ect...
  3. MOVE TO La Puente or West Covina,,
  4. NEWPORT BEACH!
