what is the difference between interior designing and interior architecture?

1. Architecture is the building itself whil design is what you put in the building
2. interior designing is designing the room or what ever, architect is the one who does the work. or building.
3. Interior architects are architects who focus/specialize on designing the physical spaces. They are the ones who decide where the walls go, how high the ceiling(s) are, where electrical/mechanical/plumbing goes, etc, etc. Typically interior designers select color schemes, carpets, paint, etc. to go with the room/space that the architect has designed. In many architecture firms, the architect will do all of this. It depends on how a firm or project is structured.
