What other jobs I can apply for with a degree in architecture?
I'm sick and tired of being poor and getting paid crap for working 12 hour days without overtime..... I love architecture and always wanted to design but all of my friends make double of what I make and work half as much. What else can I do with an Architecture degree from U.C. Berkeley that would actually pay enough so I can afford to go out once in a while?

- Engineering? Not entirely sure how that might tie in, but worth a look ?
- Before you go into another field, how many years have you been in architecture? Have you started taking the ARE? You have an architectural degree from UC Berkeley, not the easiest school to get into so I have to assume your relatively intelligent and very hard working. All interns have to travel the same road, most will question whether the entire process is worth the effort. It will get better in terms of pay (can't promise you about the hours but it's not a bad thing). You need to start plotting your goals, registration, design architect, NCARB and LEED Certifications. Money will be there, but it's up to you whether you want to or not.
- Try pharmaceutical sales job. The sales persons are well paid and they get to go out to meet customers all the time. Competency should not be a problem since pharma companies provide in house training to its representative.
