What is your favorite kind of architecture?

If you had to choose any kind of architecture, what would it be? It doesn't matter whether it's Victorian, Gothic, Classical, Arabian, Baroque, Asia, Renaissance, Greek Revival, Ancient Roman, or modern. What would be your first selection of architecture for you? What design would you decide in if you were the engineer in charge of constructing a building? Would anyone mind answering this one? It's worth an easy two (possibly even ten) points. You've got nothing to lose, but something to gain. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AqT5Tlumg24VithP_iwApGTty6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20090511004940AAhfc4R

  1. it's depending upon the environment which surround the building, don't foget that mainly the architecture any where have been effected by the environment
  2. 1930's P & O style, love all the curves and round windows. But also love Glenn Murcott's corrugated iron buildings suited to the climatic conditions of each particular site.
  3. probably ancient Roman, out of anything defined, though I'd rather design my own unique architecture, if I had a choice.
  4. That's a hard choice because my tastes are wide-ranging. I like the 'Arts & Crafts' style because it is warm, welcoming and solid to me. Stucco is a nice, cool practical style here in the Southwest. I like berm homes too, unique but also practical for Southwest climate. http://www.greenhomebuilding.com/keepcool.htm
