How is Image Manipulation Software used in advertisement, graphics design and architecture?

- Typically it would be used to enhance/correct the picture, or perhaps provide some special effects. That would especially be true in advertisements and graphic design. For advertisement it is used for removing blemishes from models (aka, air brushing).
