What is the best laptop to buy for an architecture student?
I'm a senior right now and I'm planning on studying architecture but don't know what laptop will work best. It also needs to be affordable. What should I look for when I buy one?

- well if your doing CAD and stuff, you need a high end laptop. go with a toshiba with a lot of RAM over 1GB and over 160GB hard drive. you also want a good graphics card, so your best bet is looking at media center laptops.
- for architecture, since you will be designing, all you will need is an okay graphics card. Rite now, for black friday, at circuit city, there is going to be a $300 GOOD laptop, which should go perfectly with your criteria. what you should look for to buy a laptop: 1. 1 - 2 GB Ram 2. 120+ Hard Drive 3. 15.4" Screen size 4. And a decent graphics card
