Can i get into main campus at either Penn State or Pitt?

I'm in state about 45 mins away from pittsburgh my high school GPA at the end of my junior year will be around a 3.6 my SAT score is a 1680 (600 reading, 530 math, 550 writing).I've taken 8 honors classes and im taking another 4 my senior year along with 2 APs. I've been on the high school tennis team for 3 years and ill be playing my senior year as well. I've lettered my sophomore and junior year i will probably letter my senior year as well. I also played baritone saxophone freshman and sophomore year for the high school concert band. I can also play alto saxophone. I've had a job for about a year now and will continue to work there this summer and senior year. I plan on doing community service this summer also. I will be appying as early as possible with an essay i will also be taking the SAT's one more time. A smaller question would it be better for me to apply to both colleges undecided my prefered major would be Landscape Architecture for Penn State and Civil Engineering for Pitt.

  1. Yeah you definitely have a good shot. If you get your SATs higher then you'll be a sure shot to get into both schools. And it's also a bad idea to apply 'undecided'. You can change your major when you get there, but colleges like it if you have an idea of what you want to do at their school.
