Can you take pictures of private homes without permission from the owner?
I am thinking of taking pictures of interesting architecture to use in a book. It would mainly be private homes. Do I have to get permission from the owners to use the pictures if I publish them or does the copyright belong to me because it is a photo I took from public space (i.e not on the property, from the sidewalk)? Thanks for any advice!

- If you plan on using these images for commercial purposes such as a commercial website, advertisement or any form of publication, you will be required to get a release from the architect and the owner.
