Can anyone suggest some interesting Greek architecture?

I'm building a model of a Greek building for a competition and I wanted some suggestions of interesting buildings(I also enjoy reading the history :P). I've googled, yes. Also, what materials might I need? Thanks! I really like Tholos and I was considering it but there are a lot of little stones here and there.

  1. Build the Parthenon...you need some rocks.
  2. Do not build the Parthenon, everybody knows it and it is not going to be an original idea. Build something people don't know instead, like the Tholos in Delphi: http://www.sikyon.com/Sicyon/images/treasury_delphi.jpg http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/b/b6/Delphi_tholos_cazzul.JPG or the Stoa of Attalos in Athens: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stoa_of_Attalos http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1333/1068635230_2cb835be48.jpg http://www.grisel.net/images/greece/AncAgora16.JPG
  3. The Temple of Hephaestus in Thission is a smaller size building than Parthenon and is more intact as such. The second site has some pictures of it to make it easier for you
