Would you want modern day castles built in your locale?
What is your intake on federal and municipal buildings, hotels, shopping malls, outlet centers, movie theaters, apartment complexes, and restaurants erected like medieval castles? Back during the Renaissance Period, there was a resurgence of Ancient Greek and Roman architecture. Who says there won't be a rebirth of medieval architecture? What do you make of this? Would you be on board with modern structures having blueprints equivalent to that of a castle?

- Yes of course I would like to have modern day Castles in my locale. Because it would not only remind me of the Renaissance / Medieval Ages but it would also make me feel like I am living in that era and it would allow me to feel what it was like to live it those particular eras !
- I Love it! We have a movie theatre where we live called Muvico & we used to go there often & I love the atmosphere. http://www.yelp.com/biz/muvico-egyptian-24-hanover it is not a castle but an Egyptian style & it is such a nice place to be. I think a castle would be really nice too.
- I live right next to something pretty much the size of a castle, an armory built in 1909,It is no longer an armory. I think it functions wonderfully, There is so much space in there for so many organizations and it isn't a monstrosity like a modern day office building. There is a huge track and field, a police athletic organization and more. I think it would be brilliant if modern buildings were built like castles ! EXCEPT it takes up almost one WHOLE entire square city block which is a lot of space. That is why they would not build like this anymore, at least in NYC.
- I would like that very much, because it would remind us of our ancestors and would be a real discovery for people who were not aware. It would also broaden and culturally expand the culture of the neighborhood. I might live in the castle, if I could afford it.
- I think that style of architecture has every right to emerge as any other. It's a lovely style and if mixed into the common architecture of the day, it may just make the landscape much more beautiful.
- Most of the area around where I live is reclaimed swampland, did you ever see "Monty Python and Holy Grail"? There was a reason all the other kings thought he was daft to build a castle in a swamp.
