Hexagon shaped building- architecture?

Why some buildings are hexagonal? what advantages does it have? I need some professional answers!!

1. More volume enclosed for less exterior wall area compared to the more common rectangle or square.
2. It makes for more efficient use of materials in the outside wall, but the answer may be a matter of style in some situations. It's certainly harder to build than something with square corners.
