How can I learn about CAD technology for architecture?
I want to attend this University but I have A LOT of competition. A lot of students are to 10% and even to 5% of their high school class. I was wondering how I learn about CAD technology to design and create buildings, homes, etc. Is there classes I can take? How much is CAD technology? These questions daunt me. Please help, thank you. - For students you can get AutoCAD for free at: http://students4.autodesk.com/?nd=register&und=624 and if you are interested in learning how to use AutoCAD, I would suggest reading a AutoCAD for dummies book (that is how I learned). Or there are tutorials on the same website that can show you how to use it. If you are not a very good self teacher then you can always take a AutoCAD class at a local college.
