Is this an adjective in this sentence?

I enjoy studying Roman architecture as well as modern styles of building. Is buildings an adjective in this sentence?

2. Adjectives are describing words. 'Roman' describes the architecture 'modern' describes the styles. 'Building' is a noun.
3. Roman describes the architecture. Modern describes the styles of building if building is used as a noun. Building in this sentence is a noun and the object of this sentence..
4. i would say "roman" and "modern" because they are describing styles more than likely modern though
