Recommended software to use to create an architecture portfolio?

I'm an architecture student and have to prepare a portfolio for school. What software would you recommend, and why? Illustrator or InDesign or QuarkXPress or others? Thanks!

  1. In Design is the way to go. Its easy to use and you can set up multiple master pages if you want a similar format on each page. its easy to place photos (ctrl + d), crop them, rotate them, scale them, etc... its a pretty intuitive program. you can make as many pages as you want, in any size, facing or not facing pages, and then you just export all your pages to a single pdf. I'm an arch student and its what I use for all of my projects.
