Does anyone know how I can research buying a home in PA with Moroccan/Mediterranean architecture??
I've researched through a bunch of real estates websites online and all the listings for homes in PA are booooring!!! Thanks Zelda, but how will college faculty help me build a home? I was referring to actual home builders that specialize in mediterranean styles.. are there none in pa? I did keyword searches with build your home, mediterranean plans, custom home mediterranean etc but no result... will those college professors actually provide me with a blueprint I can bring to a home builder? Again, thanks Jimmy but those are just home listings. I can find that anywhere. I would like to find listings that actually have advanced options that include mediterranean styles. I looked at eplans.com but once I buy a house plan for 8000 bucks what do i do with it?

- This is a tough question, but I have an idea that might work. If you contact some Architecture Departments of various universities and colleges in the US and ask them how to go about this quest of yours, I think they might be very willing to talk to you and give you good advice. Most colleges are already out for the summer or will be soon. Hopefully, the faculty still comes in to their offices once in a while or picks up messages. Sometimes you can get e-mail addresses of various faculty members if you browse the college Websites. I am listing a Website for Connecticut College (where I finished my BA). You did not mention whether you want to settle in Eastern PA (Philly area) or Western (Pittsburgh). The second Website I am listing is for Penn State College of Arts and Architecture. (You'll need to browse by department. I can't get in there because I am blocking pop ups.) Also, is a Website for Jodi La Coe, an associate prof there.
