what style of architecture?
what specific style of architecture are the single story rectangular shaped homes with the outside wall made entirely of glass, with randomly placed thin window panes? I'm guessing it developed sometime around the 1950's or 60's.

The exact appearance differed in different countries according to climate. But typically: the houses were linear, single storey with a low pitched gable roof. They had exposed rafters and wide eaves.
