can you study architecture in grad school?

im currently majoring in landscape architecture (=basically designing outdoor spaces) but ive always wanted to be an architect. is it possible to start studying architecture or do you really need to have a bachelor's degree in architecture before grad school? or what are some undergrad majors that have an advantage of going to architecture grad school?

  1. You can earn a masters degree in architecture in graduate school. Civil and structural engineering are good majors, but there are many others.
  2. Most people who get a masters in architecture have a bachelors in architecture because the requirements are of such a narrow focus. I do know a few that got into masters/arch but they basically had to take many of the bachelors level arch classes first, although their bachelors was in something else, they took most of the bach arch classes. You would have to contact a school & ask them their requirements. You will be competing however for spaces with people already with an arch degree.
