are dwawings created in autocad architecture 2007-2008 compatible with autocad architecture 2004?
I would like to know if i could transfer an autocad architecture 2004 file to my home computer and work on it using autocad 2007. I would then like to bring it back and work on it using autocad architecture 2004. would this work?

- Only if your version supports the save as command, Most do but some wont. I cant be any more specific as the versions of this software vary tremendously dependent upon what add-on you have purchased, what license you own or possess and last, the country you purchased it in is very important too. Contact Auto-desk direct is you best option, making clear your versions of auto-cad used.
- It is a possibility. To try it, when you are in 2007, save it in the 2004 or earlier format. Then you should be able to open it at home, work on it, and save it as you normally would. Just remember that any new features added since 2004 will not be able to be used at your home and might cause complications. Test it out first, don't work for 12 hours at home just to find that you can't reopen it at work.
