I want to become a landscape architect?

I already hold a BA in psychology and an MS in Counseling. I'm switching fields so I don't know if I should go back and get another bachelors in landscape architecture or try to pursue a 3-year masters (MLA) degree? Would I be more successful getting a BA in landscape architecture or get just as much out of an MLA which is tailored for those who already hold a degree in a different field.

  1. There are also certificate programs at places like UCLA (extension), as another option. But I would talk to a program adviser for the bachelors as well as the masters program. They could help you decide based upon knowing the rigors & requirements of their programs & your background.
