- Home is that place where you can come any time.
- public space creates a field where people are, for a large part, within each other's view; they have the possibility to move around and communicate with others but they can also choose to take distance. private spaces are designed to isolate the individual from the surrounding people, noises, sights etc. they have the function of a shelter, rather than a monitoring/socializing place.
