Do you think i should study a National Diploma Construction or Landscape course at college?
I want to study a BA (Hons) Architecture Degree at University and they accept a National Diploma at dictinction grade, but i don't know if i should study a Constrcution couse or a Landscape course. What course do you think i should study?

- Hiya. Well it very much depends on what you want to do. If youre interested in how a building works i.e. how the components are put together (roof, walls, bracing, roof beam) or if youre more artistic. Personally, i would go for the construction one. To me, it is much more interesting and there is a LOT to learn and a lot of ways to go within the construction industry, so if you later on decide architecture isnt for you then you have some background knowledge. Landscape is very architecture-related and designfocused. But it is completely up to you, it depends on what you are interested in and where you want to go. If you want to build buildings and create structures, I'd go for the construction.. It will be VERY useful to you later on in you architecture course. trust me :) Construction, Environmental and Structural studies is tough stuff but they are all modules you use all the time and they are modules in both 1, 2 and 3rd year so you would be better placed if you already knew these things when starting your architecture degree.
