What might help me get into RISD for architecture?
I'm interested in becoming an architect and am looking at RISD because it is a good school and close to my home. I'm in all honors classes and have high B's and A's. I don't know a lot about architecture though and my school doesn't have any classes that would help. What will help me learn about it? What will increase my chances of getting into RISD?

- A check of the RISD website would answer some of your questions. I'm sure your school has higher math classes (algebra, trig classes like that) you will probably need some preliminary computer courses in Computer Aided Drafting and general knowledge of computers. You might comb your local library for books on architecture to find out more about the subject and get an idea of whether or not this is something you would be interested in and have the skills to "survive". Good luck
