What do you think of desconstructivist architecture?

It this post-modern architecture typical of North America (just like 'traditional skyscrapers')? And by the way, can a building with a desconstructivist design be considered a skyscraper?

  1. Deconstructivism is rather passe - if it really had any great impetus. Many apparent chaoitic designs (certainly in europe) are far more rational than they may appear. I would not think it could be described as typical - rather that is part of its aim to be atypical. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:SCL.jpg
