In your opinion, what country has the most interesting architecture?
and can you name actual buildings you have in mind... or link to pictures..? I am not thinking about sites such as the Great Wall, Persepolis, etc., rather, structures built in contemporary times...

- dubai
- Germany: st. pauls... type in marienplatz into google, ummm.. the castles in the alps are incredible! England: St. peters, big ben, etc, tower of england
- The USA... For starters, I love the look and the feelings in the Alamo.
- US Chicago and the Sears Tower; San Fransico and the World Trade Center; Salt Lake City and the Mormon Temple.
- Any type of architecture that can survive an ELE, (Asteroid strike) would be pretty high on my list. Although it's kind of depressing to imagine what life for surviving humans would be like if I were one of the few survivors after most of the earth's population was exterminated by space-borne entropy. On second thought, it might be best to become reconstituted space dust ready for carbon recycling whenever the next supernova reaches critical mass.
- Egypt Pyramids e.c.t.
- It's gotta be the opera house in Sydney. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland is pretty impressive too.
