Landscape Architecture Program Problem?

Hi, i am going to a community college this fall and i want to major in landscape architecture. i am hoping to transfer to uc berkely after i get enough credits. the only problem is that the community college i am going to does not have a architecture program. does this disqualify me from entering to an uc ? because i really want to major in LA . what should i do ?

  1. There are only 3 major prerequisite requirements you MUST complete: Environmental Design 1, 11A and 11B. The College of Environmental Design has a list of the CA community colleges offering those courses at http://www.ced.berkeley.edu/advising/prospectivestudents/transferapplicants (scroll about half way down the page). Review the rest of that web page for additional transfer information. You should note that the Landscape Architecture undergraduate program has limited accreditation: The A.B. degree is certified by the State of California and counts as part of the education/experience requirement of the U.N.E. licensing exam. UC students who earn the A.B. degree are eligible to take the state examination after fulfilling a two-year apprenticeship under a licensed landscape architect.
