What are the best Landscape Architecture universities in California and in Philadelphia?
I'm a high school senior who has decided to choose Landscape Architecture as my intended major. I was curious as to what which schools in California, and in Philadelphia, had good Landscape Architecture programs. **When you do decide to answer my question, please go into specifics by supporting your opinion.** Oh! And what classes would you recommend I take/look into in order to prepare myself for any Landscape Architecture program? Thank you!

- Well personally, I believe LSU has the best landscape architecture program *wink*wink* (that's where I'm at for landscape architecture (ranked 2nd in the nation for its program in landscape architecture), but in California your best choice would be: California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo This university was ranked as one of the best landscape architecture schools in the nation in 2009. In Philadelphia, for an undergraduate program I would recommend Temple University and for a graduate program in landscape architecture the University of Pennsylvania is a REALLY good school to go to. If you're interested in Pennsylvania in general, probally the best school to go to would be: Penn State University Year after year Penn State is ranked as one of the top landscape architecture schools in the nation. As to what classes I recommend that you take, I would recommend any graphics classes (auto cad, photoshop, ect...), art classes, or any horticultural classes that are available at your high school. Good luck and by the way, good choice in picking landscape architecture as your future career!!
