What should I do, Architecture or Interior Design?
At the moment im studying ND Art & Design. Im planning to go uni soon and wondering which course would be better. I heard that the Architecture course is 7 years and im not sure if I can afford that. How long is the interior design course? Also which job pay better ( earnings always comes to mind for some reason ) Thanks

- this isn't the answer you are seeking but when you are done w/your education why not set up practice as a "Commercial designer"? no way you can borrow $$$ ?
- 4 yrs for Interior Design. Architects are paid more, in general. If you're a whiz at math, go for architecture. Or, you can always do Interior Design first with a 2 yr degree, then morph into architecture if you think you'd like it better. Interior Designers study architecture in their 3rd & 4th years, whereas architects study no interior design. I know it's a hard decision - I struggled with this myself. I decided that I liked spatial design more. (Though I think I would've been a great architect!!!)
