I have external lupus that mainly flares up with stress. Is landscape architecture the right job for me?
I am in college currently, and thinking of applying to a college of architecture. However, because I am having difficulty clearing up the affected areas this time around I am beginning to rethink my career path. I am just looking for some opinions is all. I know in the end it is up to me to make the decision.

- If your job will require a lot of time in the sun, you may want to rethink your choice. Sun makes discoid (skin) lupus worse. If most of your work is planning with occasional field visits, you can purchase sun protective clothing that is quite stylish-simply google "sun protective clothing" and you will find quite a number of distributors. I recommend trying to do what you love and taking steps to minimize your risks. As for stress, you can learn to manage stress with cognitive therapy, meditation, exercise, yoga, tai, chi, or chi qong.
