Why are other countries so beautiful compared to the USA?
Im am saying this from my observation as well as opinions from many people. I have looked in in several textbooks, encyclopedias, magazines, the internet, Google street view and many others. I have noticed a remarkable difference in beauty between the USA and other countries. Whenever i compare the UK with the USA the UK is just so much more physically beautiful with its rural areas and its quaint villages with cute buildings and rolling countryside in the background. Have you ever seen or been to the West country. Hampshire, Shropshire, Yorkshire Wales and Scotland? The roads are also much cleaner and smoother in the UK. Not to forget the rest of Europe like France, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Norway and many others with their charming architecture and ability to keep their wonderful rural areas and neat roads as well. The countries in South America, Mexico, Asia and Africa are also extremely pretty with their large unspoilt natural areas with the variety of wonderful architecture against it. Even modern new countries like Canada (which is much closer to the USA) and Australia manage to keep their country so clean, their coastlines so fresh, their lakes so clean and have millions of acres of pure unspoilt nature. Somehow their buildings work against the background of their scenery. Have you seen a small town in Newfoundland and Nova Scotia in Canada by the ocean? So much better looking than Maine in the US. The USA on the other hand despite its large size and variety of climates and landscapes looks trampled over. The roads just look wide and cracked with all the massive fuel guzzling ugly cars, the architecture is brash, modern, bland and is the same from coast to coast. The sky always looks hazy from all the pollution. The coastlines look filthy and the waterways are contaminated. The lands is also dusty and barren. The USA also just doesnt give a damn about the environment nor conservation methods.

- haha. you're talking about the countryside parts of the UK? Have you seen or learnt about the city parts, of which there are alot more? lol I'm sorry but have you ever been to the UK? :P it's quite a bit different to what you've described and not all parts are beautiful. We have cars in the city, factories etc! Exactly the same as you. Might wanna research a bit more.
- I've been to 30 different countries. I've found beauty in all of them. The USA is so freaking big that it has many, MANY different styles of natural beauty.
- People from other countries say the same thing about the US
- They aren't. You just say they are. The United States has some absolutely beautify scenery. Far more than Europe and in many cases on par with Canada. It has more national park space than all of Europe combined. You can go see wolves, bears, mountain lions, deer, moose, buffalo, etc. in the wild -- when was the last time you saw a wolf in England? There are forests larger than the England. It has amazing grasslands, deserts, lakes larger than England, glaciers, wetlands larger than some european countries, vast beaches, etc. I have no idea where you are going in the US to draw your opinion from... but have you been to the Grand Canyon? 250 miles x 50 miles and you can spend hours looking for any buildings. Have you ever been along the Oregon coast? How about the Florida keys? How about boating in the San Juan Islands? How about some of the national parks in Montana? How about a Mississippi paddle boat? If you think this of the United States, I recommend getting a new guide book. And please don't even think of comparing the how clean US cities are to South America or Mexico. Even the UK is a stretch.
- I live in the UK, and I have been to the US on many occasions and many other countries. Trust me, the UK sucks compared to the US.
- What a detailed indirect troll. 5 of 10 for the effort. The answer is the same all over, the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence.
- Was this a question or were you just trying to knock the USA? Americans have done more for wild life conservation than any of the places you listed, they have taken nearly extinct species and brought them back into a healthy population, states like Arizona are less than 5% built. Americans have constantly denied drilling oil in Alaska in interest of wild life preservation. Most of the places you listed are extremely small compared to the USA and much easier to remark on, America is huge, it is nearly the size of all of Europe, yet you googled some images so you must know everything about what is there, any population of over 300 million will have pollution, I have been all over the world and the only exception was Tokyo. So to answer your question other countries are more beautiful because you clearly have not seen much of America.
