Is there a term for this element in ancient Roman architecture?

I am looking for different stylistic borders from Roman architecture to incorporate into graphic design. While looking at Latin inscriptions, I saw this: http://www.billcasselman.com/roman_inscription.jpg Does anyone have more info about the style of the linear and jagged carvings that are bordering the text? I can't find another example anywhere, but I'm sure there are more. Thanks!
