Why is the Cologne Cathedral in Cologne Germany considered Gothic architecture?
I have read the Wiki about it and it just doesn't seem to provide me with enough information that helps me understand it completely. I would really appreciate it if someone would help me out. Thanks.

- The pointed arches (which are clearly observed on the Cologne Cathedral) are the most defining characteristics of Gothic Architecture besides the time period. I provided a link though which defines Gothic Architecture and lists all the characteristics.
