Can anynoe here (interpret dreams- serious answers only, please?
I commonly have lucid dreams, when I can control exactly what I do and who I speak to; frequently I am aware I am waking up moments before I do, and have time to say 'goodbye' to whoever I was with in the dream! Firstly, is this a common trait? Second, a recurring theme throughout my dreams is that they take palce in a huge house/ mansion, although the actual architecture is never the same in two dreams- but I have the feeling it is the same house each time. It is absolutely huge, beyond our comphrehension; endless corridors, rooms the size of warehouses all decked out in polished wood and plush carpets (think Buckingham Palace on 1000 times the scale). And I know that in the dreams the house is either mine, or soon to become mine- or has been promised to me. What could this truly massive (as in impossibly huge), gothic style mansion mean? Quite often I am with a lot of friends there, just milling about and having a ball. The garden is huge and sunny. What do you think? Thanks guys- like I said, serious answers only please. Oh, and by the way, recently I've also been dreaming that I have been dreaming- significant?

- No that was Joseph and he died...
- lucid dreaming is actually not the common, it takes a bit of skill and practice to be able too. and if you can control everything in your dreams your the one createing the huge mansion. are you unhappy with what you have and want something grander?
- A dream is just a dream. The only thing it can tell you that you have probably been thinking or worrying about something a lot. Last night I was dreaming that I was awake. I woke up, and I really was!
- There is a French movie from the 1960's called Last Year at Marienbad. See if you can rent a copy...it IS your dream!
- This ones the easiest yet your dreaming Literally
- houses in dreams usually signify us as a whole the attic being our mind or higher self the basement being our inner self or secrets we hold etc house dreams along with car dreams seem to be the most vivid as they directly relate to our life as it is the changes would be the changes that are going on around you and with you ... so take note of where those changes are i.e which rooms etc

- "You shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I, The Lord, am your God and there is none else. And My people shall never again be put to shame. And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions. Even upon the menservants and maidservants in those days, I will pour out My Spirit" (Joel 2:27-29 RSV)
- Sounds like heaven to me.
- Yes this is a very common trait of being able to say good-bye to people in your dreams, but what is not a common trait is remembering dreams. Most dreams have a signifigance of childhood problems, dillemmas, trauma, goodtimes, etc. Ask yourself this after you remember a dream, How did that connect to my life as a child? OR ask yourself how does this relate to anything in my life?
- WoW!
- Seriously what i think is happening my dear is you are having an out of body experience you are travelling to somewhere you have already been and that is why when you start to wake you have time to say goodbye to whomever you are talking too. I have these "dreams" too but iam talking with my grandfather and we are visiting his house with his things in it though. You might want to ask the next time this happens where you are and who the people you are talking to are they will answer you
- That large house is your spirit, and the nice condition you see it in is your spiritual condition...either now, or promised to you in the future.. As your spirit does, so will your life...... You seem to have God's favor in your life. Lucid dreams can be a message from God...and no, it is not common, but can happen.
- the house is you so you have a high self esteem, good for you! dreaming of dreaming is not very common but it happens when you are obsessed with the meaning of dreams
- hmmmm....I quite well with dreams.... Well... There are so many possibilities I can stress out in this space....and time... The most common are: This mansion could possibly be your's to inherit one day, but you do not know it yet, or the person has still not yet told you and/or died. Possible, you may visit this place later on in life. And the dreaming about you dreaming....that's hard to pull off. I've had it happen to me various times, and I would say this could mean you have a detailed mind, that allows you to see farther into things than others can. Maybe your mind will allow you to find these answers to the dreams. A lot of times I will have these dreams (which later come true) and I have to solve them quick. The answers come easy if I keep looking through each inch of detail and happenings. =[ Sorry I can't be of much help... But if you have another dream like this soon...feel free to email me on it... starfire_1993_2005@yahoo.com
- Hi, this is very interesting i believe the person you say goodbye to is your guardian angel, and at night you returned home (spirit world) to the halls of learning where i believe there are many halls and rooms. this is called astral travelling. i hope this helps you
- hi; ive just looked up my dream dictionary, and it says that dreaming of huge buildings is something relating to your current environment in a non dream stae, in particular you mention the corridors and they mean that there are desicions to make and you are unsure of what desicion to make, hence the many sorridors in different directions, also looked up dreaming of dreaming, this is uncommon, the book says it is your subconsious desire to keep your dream a safe distance from the real world, it aslo says dreaming that you are dreaming is the first step towards lucid dreaming, the ability to recognise the difference between the concious mind and the subconcious mind, hope this helps, the book is called dictionary of dreams if you want to look it up and buy it.xx
- perhaps u invisioned heaven, a palace with endless corridors and having a ball pretty much soundes like actual heaven. Perhaps Christ is speaking to u through your dreams.
- Lucid dreaming, as far as I know, isn't that common, but I've heard that it is something we can learn to do. As for your dream, my book on dreams says that it means you will soon leave your house for a much better one. Not sure about the significance of friends around, all it says is that a ball is 'a satisfactory omen'. So sounds good!
- This is a long one... Psychologists are paying more attention to what is called a 'lucid' dreaming. This is relastively a rear phenomenon in which a the dreamer is aware that he or she is dreaming, Often, they find that they are able - consciously, as it were - to influence the dream events and the people involved. Sigmund freud wrote.... There are some people who are quite clearly aware during the night that they are asleep and dreaming, and who thus seem to possess the faculty of consciously directing their dreams. If,for instance, a dreamer of this kind is dissatisfied with the turn of events by the dream, he/she can break it off and start again in another direction - just as a popluar dramatist may, under pressure, give his play a happier ending. You have a unique gift and i think that it may mean that when you are unhappy with things iny our waking life in your sleep you can play out a better ending. I tried to find and explaintion in my book on the masion and hall ways but there was nothing really that came up as for the garden may be this will be of interest.... If it is that the garden is overgrown and chocked with weeds, it signifies that the dreamers thoughts emotions and waking circumstances are in a similar way untidy and confused. Oh the other hand the garden may be the garden of Eden, a lost paradise. perhaps the dreamer is hoping to find a place where man and woman can dwell together in loving harmony. Hope this is serious enough for you and that it is so some interest xx
- Answer of your first part of the question is that you have discovered allot, deep into your subconscious, it's height you need meditation to reinforce you discoveries of yourself, so that it may get a place in your wisdom and in practical life. Second part of your question is linked with the first one, soon you are going to get reality and truth, it is just around you, you are very close to the treasure of peace of mind.
- The 'house' in your dream is how you 'view your life' in reality, with each room some different aspect of your 'real life' so if your hous is 'extra large' and 'lushly furnished' you should feel fairly happy with your 'real life' ... if it turns to 'small rooms with tacky furniture' then you are unhappy about something or are working it out somehow by what happens to you in the dream in the house. Also, if you are with 'quite a lot of friends, just milling about and having a ball' then you are probably quite happy with everyone there ... but if you can teach yourself to 'look closer' you may see that there are no 'real people' there, just 'self built constructs' or that some of the 'real people' seem larger and stronger while other seem smaller and weaker, and that should tell you something about the state of your relationship with that person, so you could 'fix it' in real life. As for the 'end' of your dreams, if you have time to 'say goodbye' to the people in your dream because you know that you are about to wake up ... it could mean only that your life is now in 'excellent condition' or it could be telling you that 'death' is close and perhaps you need to 'say goodbye' to everyone, or it could simply mean that something is 'about to change' and that you will be 'saying goodbye' to the people who were in your dream but are real too, and moving on to something new. Telling a person what their 'dreams mean' is NOT a matter of 'interpretation' ... I didn't use a 'book with a list of meanings of various things' to tell you what your dreams mean, I used only 'my experience of my dreams' in comparison to what you wrote in your question. I have read many supposedly 'good books' on 'dream interpretation' over the years, and have found some of them at least 'interesting' but none nearly as 'accurate' as using 'simple common sense' when I wonder what my own dreams mean. Dreams come from your 'subconscious' and they can and do tell you a lot about who you are 'inside' in comparison to who you 'think you are' on the 'outside' ... so using that as my 'base scale' and having hand many 'house dreams' myself, my 'common sense' tells me what your dreams means.
- This is more about your brain than anything else I think. There are people around that would wish to make money or feel they can somehow make themselves feel important by saying there is some spiritual significance to your dream. I can also control my dreams, and I reckon the mansion means you feel comfortable and happy. Perhaps you are making hay whilst the sun shines. You don't really say how you feel in the dream. You might get some good answers on this if you go to psychology.
- You seek respect, the approval of your peers, with escape from your present/future prospects. You would wish for something really positive to happen, something beyond your present circumstances. Failing that you are undergoing puberty induced hormonal reactions.
- There are many books on lucid dreaming. Most people have lucid dreams but are not aware of this at the time. You are . The mansion is like all dreams a reflection of our present state of mind. It reflects how we are like seeing ourself in multiple car crashes tells me about my crazy life and state of mind for example. This is a nice dream and will recur until your state of mind changes. It suggests to me a expectation of something big to come-very big and nice but not in a material sense. It could for example be immemse peace, revelation, transformation, enlightenment but overalll a great calmness and tranquility.Hang in there and enjoy.
- The mansion in dreams is sometimes used to show just how big you are, how much you hold in yourself, and perhaps the amount of work you have put into becoming who you are. To dream that you are dreaming can mean a lack of attention to everyday affairs. Can symbolise a contact with innermost contents of your being.
- Probably a site like http://IhadADreamLastNight.com will help you out. There is a lot of content regardings dreams there.
- To see a mansion in your dream, symbolizes your greatest potential and growth. If you dream about living in or visiting a mansion, you may feel that your current situation or relationship is in a rut. But have hope - your dream is a positive omen that you will someday leave your home for a better place and you will be lucky in life and finance.
